Family Friendly Archery Sessions:

Beginner and Intermediate

Bows and Safety Equipment Provided.

Instruction is provided by Certified USA Archery Instructors.

(same parking lot as the West Seattle Golf Course and Stadium)

Black Light Archery ($15/person): 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Sundays: May 26th, June 2, 16, 30th

Stop by anytime during this drop-in time to try archery. Last check-in time is 6:30pm, with a guarantee to have at least 3 rounds of shooting.

Safety introduction and basic instruction provided to all participants.

Reserve a shooting lane for the hour, $50, 5pm-6pm or 6pm-7pm

(max. 4 people per lane reservation)

Session 1 - 2:00pm - 3:15pm (3 Spots available)

Session 2 - 3:30pm - 4:45pm (FULL)

• Group and individual instruction will be provided each lesson.

• Small class sizes, family friendly - both youth and adults

• Minimum age 6 years old

SESSION INFORMATION:

• Instruction is provided by USA Archery certified Instructors; all instructors are also Certified in American Red Cross First Aid/CPR.​

​

• Each session will focus on the five disciplines of archery; Safety, Equipment, Form, Shot Execution, and Scoring. 

​

• In addition to Traditional Target shooting, Archers will also have the opportunity to play several Archery games, such as, Tic-Tac-Toe, Battle shots, and Balloon Shoot.​

About the Location:

Roger Dahl Rifle Range is an indoor facility. There is a lobby waiting area with seating and tables. ​Restrooms onsite.

About Our Equipment:

We have Recurve and Compound bows available for use. The equipment we have available to an individual archer is subject to that individual's height.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I use my own equipment?

  Yes, but only Recurve, traditional, and compound bows. Please no crossbows. We will inspect your equipment for safety, before allowing you to use it on our range. Your bows draw weight must be rated lower than 30 pounds.
