SPRING 2024 EXPLORE ARCHERY CLASSES

Beginner and Intermediate

Recurve Bows and Safety Equipment Provided.

Instruction is provided by Certified USA Archery Instructors.

Try Archery Drop-in ($10/session): 5pm - 6:30pm

Sundays: April 7, 14, 21, 28th, May 26th, June 2, 16, 30th

Stop by anytime during the drop-in time to try archery, last check-in time is 6:15pm. Guaranteed to have at least 3 rounds of shooting. Safety introduction and basic instruction provided to all participants.

SESSION INFORMATION:

• Instruction is provided by USA Archery certified Instructors; all instructors are also Certified in American Red Cross First Aid/CPR.​

​

• Each session will focus on o the five disciplines of archery; Safety, Equipment, Form, Shot Execution, and Scoring. 

​

• In addition to Traditional Target shooting, Archers will also have the opportunity to play several Archery games, such as, Tic-Tac-Toe, Battle shots, and Balloon Shoot.​

About the Location:

Roger Dahl Rifle Range is an indoor facility. There is a lobby waiting area with seating and tables. ​Restrooms onsite.

About Our Equipment:

We have Recurve and Youth Compound bows available for use. The equipment we have available to an individual archer is subject to that individual's height.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I use my own equipment?

  Yes, but only Recurve, traditional, and compound bows. Please no crossbows. We will inspect your equipment for safety, before allowing you to use it on our range. Your bows draw weight must be rated lower than 30 pounds.

​

Can I use the same bow each time?

  Yes, our bows are numbered. You may log which bow you use in our logbook so that you may use the same equipment every time.

Private Lessons 

$150/per session, individual or private group. Includes equipment rental for class. All Levels Welcome.
